The following information was received by UACA from Incumbent Councillor Colle regarding Terrace Gardens at 3705 Bathurst St. This was sent as a result of several residents questions about the future use of this property.

Just to be clear about the future of 3705 Bathurst St, the former Terrace Gardens.
There will not be a homeless shelter at this site.
- The City has not signed a leased with the new owners
- The City has not purchased the property from the new owners.
The former owners of Terrace Gardens made the building vacant for the present owners. This property was and still is privately owned, although by a different owner.

If you want to join me in building more affordable housing for our vulnerable seniors, you can help by contacting your local MP (Marco.Mendicino@parl.gc.ca ) and MPP (robin.martin@pc.ola.org) and ask them to partner with the City to create a new residence for the Jewish elderly in this community.
