Our neighborhood Farmers’ Market is up and running every Thursday 3 PM to 7 PM from now until October 13, located in the old TTC loop on Avenue Rd. at Old Orchard.
The market carries wonderful fresh produce, mouth-watering baked goods and breads, organic sauces, fresh oils and vinegars, cured meats, pretzels, fresh soups in jars and you can wash it all down with the amazing local beers. There’s even something for Fido. Winnie tells me the freshly baked dog treats are to die for!
Some of your favorite regular vendors come back week after week, but don’t miss those brand new finds who pop in brand new as well.
If you’re hungry, enjoy freshly made paella from the food truck. I dare you to resist the wafting scents of the delish dishes prepared right in front of you. And if all this wasn’t enough, listen to the sounds of live entertainment while you shop, eat, mingle and meet.
The best part, you get to meet new neighbours every week, including your friends from your Residents Association – Upper Avenue Community Association, UACA for short.
